Symcoat HT500 can be applied to molds made from aluminum, steel or any metal that can withstand temperatures up to 750°F. This coating complies with FDA regulations for food contact. Symcoat HT500 can be used continuously at temperatures of 500°F(260°C) and intermittently at 550°F(290°C). This coating is currently used on molds and packaging equipment and is also good for overall corrosion resistance.
